Position Location: London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA), Tower Hill & Aldgate
Reports to: Course Director
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
The Role: As a Lecturer in Hospitality and Events (Foundation - FdA), you will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Levels 4 and 5, helping students build the practical skills and knowledge needed to thrive in leadership roles. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to continually enhance the curriculum and student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver inspiring lessons and assessments across Levels 4β6.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
- Contribute to curriculum design and continuous improvement.
- Stay connected with industry to keep teaching relevant and current.
- Use digital tools to enhance learning and engagement.
- Participate in research, professional practice, and quality assurance activities.
- Support course leadership and uphold policies on safeguarding, equality, and health & safety.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience teaching, assessing, and designing curriculum in Higher Education.
- Proven track record in supporting student success and inclusive teaching.
- Engagement with research, knowledge exchange, or relevant industry practice.
- Relevant BA and postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Desirable: PhD or equivalent industry experience, HEA Fellowship (or willingness to obtain), and a teaching qualification (PG Cert or equivalent).
