About the Programmes: At London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA), we deliver a range of progressive business and hospitality programmes designed to meet the needs of diverse learners â from those just beginning their higher education journey to those preparing for management and leadership roles.
We are recruiting for opportunities across:
- Foundation Degree FdA Applied Business Management (Levels 4â5)
- Foundation Degree (FdA) Business & Hospitality (Levels 4â5) â developing analytical, creative, and professional skills for success in business and service industries.
As part of the Global University Systems (GUS) network and in partnership with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), LCCA blends theory with realâworld experience through experiential learning, live briefs, and industry collaboration.
The Role: You'll play a vital role in shaping learning experiences across Foundation and Foundation Degree programmes â inspiring students through applied, inclusive, and reflective teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, highâquality teaching across Foundation and/or FdA Business & Hospitality modules.
- Design and update learning materials and assessments that connect theory with practice.
- Provide academic and pastoral support that encourages progression and success.
- Use innovative, experiential learning methods to make teaching relevant and industryâinformed.
- Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to enhance curriculum and employability opportunities.
- Participate in scholarly activity, professional practice, or research to maintain subject expertise.
- Embed digital learning and inclusive approaches to support diverse learners.
About You: You're a dynamic academic or industry professional who thrives on helping students grow in confidence and capability. You bring both subject expertise and a genuine passion for teaching through doing.
Requirements:
- A relevant BA and postgraduate qualification (or equivalent professional experience) in Business, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
- Experience teaching or supporting students in Higher Education, FE, or transition levels.
- Experience teaching or supporting students from a widening participation background.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive and experiential pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
- Confidence using digital learning platforms and tools.
- PhD or equivalent professional standing.
- Fellowship (or working towards Fellowship) of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCert or equivalent).
- Strong professional or industry networks that enhance student employability.
