We’re looking for a visionary Associate Dean – Social Sciences to lead our Business and Hospitality departments—key pillars of our student experience. Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Business and Hospitality programmes with purpose and clarity.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performing academic culture focused on student outcomes.
- Support and mentor teaching teams to deliver engaging, future-focused curricula.
- Drive improvements in student retention, progression, and achievement using data and insight.
- Ensure robust quality assurance aligned with QAA and OfS standards.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships across the GUS network and beyond.
- Deputise for the Academic Dean and represent LCCA at senior leadership level.

- Experience in higher education leadership, ideally across social sciences disciplines.
- A record of delivering excellent student outcomes, especially for diverse learners.
- Strong grasp of academic governance, KPIs, and curriculum development.

Qualifications
- Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain HEA Fellowship.
