Join to apply for the 2x HR Advisors (Permanent and Fixed Term contract) role at London City Mission.

At London City Mission we are passionate about sharing the love of God and the good news of Jesus Christ with the least reached in London, and to do this in partnership with churches. To support this work, we are seeking two HR Advisors to join our dedicated HR Team. These roles are central to delivering high-quality operational HR support across all levels of LCM staff and leadership within designated areas.

As an HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing an excellent HR service. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

  • Managing recruitment campaigns
  • Advising line managers on HR matters
  • Handling casework and employee relations
  • Maintaining and updating the HR Information System
  • Responding to HR enquiries from staff and managers
  • Preparing HR data for monthly payroll
  • Supporting onboarding processes
  • Contributing to HR projects that enhance our service delivery

Qualifications and requirements

  • Prior HR experience and a full or part-CIPD qualification at Level 5 (or equivalent) is welcomed
  • A prayerful approach to work is essential, as is alignment with our values and mission
  • There is an occupational requirement that the person appointed be an evangelical Christian
