Overview
Our multidisciplinary team at London Children’s Practice seeks an ambitious Clinical Psychologist to deliver specialist, person‑centred psychology services in school‑based and clinic settings, with opportunities to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Provide targeted interventions and psychological assessments for pupils with complex needs, including developmental trauma, neuro‑divergence, and SEMH.
- Assess students for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Manage own caseload with support from a clinical supervisor.
- Contribute to service development, training and upskilling of multidisciplinary staff.
- Maintain safeguarding culture and promote pupil wellbeing.
- Provide supervision to staff as required.
Qualifications
- Doctoral level degree in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent).
- Experience working in multiple settings and with service development, group and individual levels.
- Knowledge of trauma‑informed practice and neuro‑diversity.
- Strong clinical record‑keeping skills (observations, consultation records, reports, intervention plans).
- Effective IT skills and willingness to learn new platforms.
- Flexible and adaptable to varied working environments.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel on company business.
- Experience working with neuro‑diverse and/or social, emotional and mental health groups in schools or clinics.
- Experience providing supervision and post‑qualification training in evidence‑based interventions.
