Key Responsibilities
- The Head of International will lead and enhance the Chamber's international profile, delivering initiatives that strengthen members' export capability, knowledge, and global growth.
- The role requires a commercially minded leader with strong expertise in international trade, excellent project management skills, and the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders in the UK and overseas.
- A key responsibility is to develop and grow sustainable revenue streams for the International Business function through a diverse portfolio of commercial activities, partnerships, and funded programmes.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and lead LCCI’s international activity in alignment with wider business objectives.
- Identify priority markets and opportunities for member businesses abroad.
- Act as the primary contact for all international activities at LCCI, including relationships with the International Chamber of Commerce, British Chambers of Commerce, and other global partners.
- Represent LCCI in high-level discussions and promote its international agenda across various platforms and media platforms.
Team Management
- Provide clear direction and leadership to the international team.
- Set objectives, provide feedback, conduct appraisals, and support professional development.
- Foster a collaborative, motivated, and high-performing team culture aligned with LCCI’s values.
Revenue Generation & Business Growth
