We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Committee Coordinator to support the delivery of LCCI's committees, associations and groups. You will be responsible for the smooth operation, administration and management of the groups to ensure they adhere to governance protocols, meet their objectives and support the strategic priorities of the LCCI, acting as the central liaison between Chairs, members and internal teams.
Key responsibilities:- Schedule and coordinate meetings, including logistics, agendas, invites and timely distribution of papers.
- Prepare accurate meeting notes, track follow up actions and ensure completion by relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure groups comply with the LCCI’s governance framework, terms of reference and related policies.
- Maintain digital records of membership, attendance, roles and sector expertise.
- Act as the main point of contact for committee chairs and members.
- Coordinate communication and activities between groups and internal teams, identifying collaboration opportunities.
- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on group activity and progress.
- Demonstrate strong organisational, administrative and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to business needs and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, adapting style and tone to ensure clarity and engagement across stakeholder groups.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trust and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify patterns and trends, and develop practical, effective solutions.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong track record of initiating ideas, recommending improvements, and taking ownership of delivering effective solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in administration, governance, not for profit management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting teams or committees, preferably in a membership or not for profit organisation.
- Proficient in virtual meeting platforms and slide deck presentations.
