London Business School are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to play a key role in the end-to-end management of bids and proposals within Executive Education. As a central stakeholder in the Bid Team, you will lead the bid process from opportunity qualification through to submission, ensuring bids are accurate, compelling, compliant and delivered on time. Working closely with sales colleagues, solution architects and commercial teams, you will shape high-quality proposals that exceed client expectations and support the School's growth ambitions. You will also act as a trusted advisor, sharing best practice and continuously improving bid quality and effectiveness.
The Executive Education department designs and delivers a broad portfolio of open-enrolment and custom programmes in online, in-person and hybrid formats. Each year, more than 8,000 participants engage in our programmes, taught by leading business thinkers. Executive Education is central to the School's strategy and generates a significant proportion of its revenue.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the end to end bid process for qualified opportunities
- Qualify and scope new opportunities in partnership with senior stakeholders
- Ensure bids are strategically aligned, commercially viable and compliant
- Project manage bids to agreed timelines, quality standards and scope
- Work closely with sales, solution architects and commercial teams to develop winning bids
- Research client organisations to tailor proposals and strengthen value propositions
- Proven experience in bid writing, editing and end to end bid management
- Strong project management skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders and clients
- Strong analytical and problem solving capability
- Experience using design tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or PowerPoint
- Experience in professional services, executive education or commercial learning environments (desirable)
- A professional bid management qualification (preferred)
