Do you want to spearhead innovation and shape the future of digital education with cutting-edge technologies and creative content design? London Business School are seeking a Digital Learning Developer to evolve our digital learning portfolio and enhance online products and services. You will experiment with new content, technologies, and trends to future-proof our portfolio, delivering value and improvement to the digital learning experience.

The Digital Learning department is pivotal in setting the strategic direction, implementation, and delivery of the digital learning portfolio. Our mission includes growing the online portfolio, developing technology roadmaps, and amplifying the visibility of the School’s research. We deliver value by leading and driving innovation in digital learning.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the design, development, and delivery of digital learning solutions.
  • Develop high-quality online and multimedia content for the School's digital portfolio.
  • Partner with stakeholders from various departments and external associations.
  • Manage projects within budget and timelines, ensuring quality standards.
  • Demonstrate usage, reuse, and ROI for existing content and technologies.
  • Engage in flexible and timely video production and editing.

Who we are looking for

  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of a variety of LMS/LXPs and willingness to learn and experiment on the Thinqi platform.
  • Good stakeholder engagement skills with experience of collaborating with a range of different stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of the wider School’s offerings and those of its competitors.
  • Demonstrable project management skills, prioritization, achieving deadlines, communication, coordination, collaboration.
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and good problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a range of tools and software packages that can be used to create visually inspiring and well-designed learning resources (e.g. Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud).
  • Good knowledge of video production and content creation, including capturing and editing processes and tools (e.g. Premiere Pro and After Effects, etc.).
  • Demonstrable experience of learning design and production of learning resources.
  • Good breadth and depth of knowledge of online learning content tools and software, current trends and the ability to develop and maintain own expertise.

At London Business School, we support Smart Working - a hybrid approach designed to help you achieve a healthy work-life balance while delivering the best outcomes for your role and the needs of our customers. All roles require a minimum of two days on campus each week to foster a vibrant, collaborative community. For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus 2 days per week. We operate with ‘core hours’ – 10:00-15:00 – to maximise opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams during the working day. Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs. Additionally, we offer Protected Time - a flexible, one-hour slot, within the working week dedicated to your learning and development, wellbeing, or focused, quiet work.
