This is a high-impact, School-wide role at the centre of the strategic agenda, where you will shape, govern, and deliver key institutional priorities, programmes, and projects with significant reputational importance. Working closely with the Executive Director, Strategy & Planning, you will act as the integrator of major strategic initiatives—ensuring priorities are clearly defined, aligned, and effectively delivered across the organisation. As a senior adviser to leadership, you will translate strategy into sustainable outcomes through strong governance, cross-functional coordination, and evidence-based decision-making, driving long-term performance and impact.
Responsibilities
- Turn strategic priorities into coordinated, School-wide programmes that drive real institutional action.
- Foster alignment and cooperation across departments to deliver complex, high-impact programmes.
- Keep priorities aligned to the overall strategy, ensuring they are owned at a School level rather than by individual departments.
- Use data and evidence to refine priorities and ensure strategy remains responsive and effective over time.
- Take on additional high-priority projects and analysis in response to emerging institutional needs.
- Act as a trusted strategic partner, offering insight and guidance on delivery and long-term impact of key initiatives.
- Proactively identify delivery risks, capacity constraints, and interdependencies, escalating issues early where needed.
- Provide clear, consistent reporting on the status, impact, and pacing of strategic initiatives.
- Help senior leaders understand resource constraints and make informed decisions on sequencing and focus.
Qualifications
- Senior strategy leadership experience.
- Enterprise and portfolio governance—designing governance structure and managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Cross organizational leadership.

- Exposure to portfolio management, PMO, or strategic programme leadership.
