Permanent: Face to face role

Salary: £9,800 per session

Part-Time: Minimum 4 sessions/2 days per week (across Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu)

We’re looking for an experienced and talented General Practitioner to provide adult health screening assessments to corporate patients at our clinic at their prestigious offices in Chester. Our patient cohort are generally the "working well". The role is busy, but very structured, giving our doctors an excellent work/life balance. You will join a friendly and supportive team and be given the time to care for your patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide adult health screening assessments to corporate patients.
  • Carry out basic procedures such as taking bloods, ECGs and smear tests.
  • Deliver lifestyle medicine advice where appropriate.
  • Offer appointments with variable lengths: 30 minutes for basic male screening, 45 minutes for basic female screening, and up to 90 minutes for in-depth consultations. GP appointments are 15 minutes.
  • Access instant referrals to leading specialists and world-class facilities when needed.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be GMC registered. You do not need to be on the performers list but must be on the GP register. (If you are not on the UK GP register but have practised as a GP in another country, please get in touch.)
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems
  • A friendly and can-do attitude
  • An interest in lifestyle/preventative medicine
