Staff Nurse – Complex General Surgery
London: The Harley Street Clinic
Full time: Monday – Sunday 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: Flexible to work, long days, nights and weekends based on internal rotation.
We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Very Complex Surgical Inpatients team at the Harley Street Clinic, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
The Surgical Unit at The Harley Street Clinic is recruiting a Staff Nurse to join their dynamic team. This is a highly skilled area with a combination of long-term patient stay and a high turnover of day case procedures.
In addition, the unit is an environment for learning and development with both Internal and external training opportunities on the below specialties to help develop your knowledge and skills to provide care for our complex caseload of patients.
The Consultants and MDT create patient specific care pathways, so no two days are alike. Being a part of the Surgical Team means that you will be part of a very diverse team with a great culture as you deliver a high standard of care to your patients.
The surgical specialties that you will encounter are:
Complex Head and Neck/ENT/Maxillofacial including early stepdown of patients with artificial airway
Upper and lower GI, including HPB
Neurosurgery – brain/spinal disease
Plastic
Breast
Complex Uro – Gynae

What you’ll bring:
NMC registered Nurse
Prior Extensive experience in a Surgical Ward environment (Colorectal/Oncology surgeries) or A&E Experience
Tracheostomy trained (preferred)
Basic life support, ILS preferred
