We’re looking for an experienced Oncology Nurse to join our cancer nursing team at Private Care at Guy’s, one of our state‑of‑the‑art cancer centres. The centre is rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission and offers theatres, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, oncology and surgical wards. As part of the team you will gain access to the Systemic Anti‑Cancer Treatments (SACT) programme, allowing you to administer chemotherapy and participate in professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality care across chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other oncology treatments.
- Administer chemotherapy and other intravenous treatments within the SACT programme.
- Work collaboratively with patients to meet their medical, physical and emotional needs.
- Support a specialist oncology nursing team in a cutting‑edge facility.
What You’ll Bring
- A current NMC Nurse registration.
- Post‑registration experience within haematology or oncology settings (desirable).
- Clinical skills in venepuncture, cannulation and administration of intravenous drugs.
- Experience in chemotherapy administration (SACT) desirable.
