We’re looking for a Senior Medical Secretary to join our Administration team based at London Bridge Hospital. As part of one of the UK’s leading private healthcare providers, you’ll play a key role in supporting Consultants and ensuring patients receive an outstanding experience throughout their care journey. Working within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you’ll contribute to the smooth day-to‑day running of consultant practices and clinics while building positive relationships with patients, clinicians and multidisciplinary teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide full secretarial and administrative support to Consultants and Practices, including diary management, correspondence and clinic coordination
  • Manage patient queries and communications, ensuring a professional, responsive and empathetic service at all times
  • Coordinate clinics, appointments, admissions and investigations to support a smooth patient journey
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure systems such as Meditech or Practice Management Systems are updated appropriately
  • Support continuous improvement within the department and provide guidance and coaching to other Medical Secretaries where required

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in a Medical Secretary role
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using Practice Management Systems and a strong attention to detail
