Location: The London Bridge Hospital and The Shard Outpatients, part of London Bridge Hospital Campus, Central London

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Shift times: 7.5 hour shifts between 08:00 and 20:00

Type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiology Department Assistant to join our Imaging team at The London Bridge Hospital and The Shard Outpatients.

Responsibilities

  • Support our Imaging team across London Bridge Hospital and The Shard Outpatients, working flexibly across a range of services including women's health, breast, gynaecology and general ultrasound clinics.
  • Assist Consultants, Radiographers and Nurses during examinations and procedures.
  • Prepare and support patients throughout their visit.
  • Manage appointments and registrations using Meditech.
  • Utilise PACS and undertake a variety of administrative duties.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Radiology Department Assistant within a hospital setting.
  • Essential experience supporting ultrasound services, including women's health and/or breast imaging.
  • NVQ Level 3, Care Certificate or equivalent healthcare qualification.
  • Strong IT skills with experience using clinical systems and patient administration systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient‑focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple clinics and adapt to changing priorities in a busy environment.
