As the B/AR Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of revenue cycle processes to meet key departmental KPI’s. You will assist in the day-to-day operations of the department whilst monitoring the performance of your team through reporting and regular audits, identifying where additional support may be required and recognising high performance. You will drive a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration between colleagues and departments and with external stakeholders, identifying areas for opportunity and removing barriers to success.
What you'll do:
- Dictionary Maintenance: Act as the UK owner of all Meditech Expanse RCSS-owned dictionaries within B/AR, ensuring all changes are appropriately approved in line with internal governance.
- Complex Rule Building: Design, build, and test complex rules (e.g., MIS rules, field maps, data sets) to ensure accurate reimbursement, including troubleshooting and remediation as needed.
- Request Management: Manage and track dictionary requests, ensuring timely completion in accordance with local policies and following up as required.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a Meditech Expanse SME for the relevant application, providing support, guidance, and best practice recommendations to colleagues.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the UK Expanse team, Parallon, Meditech colleagues, and stakeholders across RCSS and the wider organisation.
- Best Practice & Standardisation: Promote best practice and standardisation across the UK division, aligning with Parallon standards where appropriate.
- Resource Management: Line management of application analysts including performance management and task assignment.
- Operational Oversight: Provide insight and reporting into service levels, maintain reasonable request turnaround times and user education to promote quality requests.
What you'll bring:
- Coding experience.
- Experience with ServiceNow or other request management systems.
- MEDITECH or similar EHR.
- Business Analysis and projects experience.
- Experienced line manager of technical teams.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong multi-level stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to problem solving and ability to appropriately manage task deadlines.
- Proficient understanding of UK Private Healthcare Revenue Cycle technology and terminology.
- Wide breadth of knowledge across the industry or organisation.
- Degree or equivalent in IT/Clinical or Business education.
