Manchester, The Christie Private Care
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 4 days per week, Monday-Saturday. Shift times between 07:30-20:00. 9.5-hour days. Overtime available as well as occasional on-calls.
Permanent Salary: Up to ÂŁ35,000 dependent on experience + 4% shift enhancement
We are looking for a Theatre Practitioner with scrub experience to join our Theatres team at The Christie Private Care, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
What you will do:
- Regularly scrub within specialisms such as Urology, Gynaecology, Generals & Plastics
- Cleaning and stock control of Theatre department
- Act as circulating person within the scrub team as and when required
- Collecting and escorting the patient, and assisting with transferring of the patient from trolley to table under supervision of trained staff.
What you will bring:
- NMC or HCPC registration
- Scrub experience in the UK
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- A second skill (Anaesthetics or Recovery) is desirable
