We’re looking for a Senior Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our team at our Harley Street Clinic & Leaders in Oncology Care sites currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Based in London’s medical district, our hospital is accessible and is considered an employer of choice. Our pharmacy team delivers an exceptional patient-centred service across our world-renowned campus that houses several centres of excellence from Complex Oncology to Cardiac to Diagnostics.
As a key member of the pharmacy team, the Senior Pharmacy Technician – Procurement will deliver high-quality, patient-focused operational pharmacy services. The postholder will be responsible for pharmacy procurement and stock control management across the Harley Street Clinic, UCH, and LOC sites, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and compliant medicines supply.
The role supports the continuous development of pharmacy services through audit, monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), and active involvement in Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs). The postholder will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including corporate Supply Chain, Finance, and clinical teams, to ensure efficient and standardised procurement processes.
What you’ll bring:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in pharmacy procurement and stock control
- Demonstrable experience of purchasing pharmaceuticals in line with contracts, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Experience using pharmacy materials management and finance systems (e.g. Medecator, Expanse, SMART or equivalent)
