Clinical Specialist Radiographer – MRI (Fixed Term Contract)

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week. 12 hour shifts (08:00-20:00) across LBH Campus (London Bridge Hospital and OPD sites). Fixed Term Contract (12 months). Salary: Competitive dependent on experience.
We’re looking for a Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our MRI team at the London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. In Spring 2024, HCA Healthcare UK opened an £18 million, 20,000 sq. ft state‑of‑the‑art outpatients and diagnostics centre in the heart of Canary Wharf. This expansion will meet the growing demand for private healthcare in Canary Wharf.
The London Bridge Hospital campus in South East London encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world‑class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre; and outpatient and diagnostic centres across the City and Canary Wharf.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients.
- Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways.
- Identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager.
- Assist day‑to‑day running of the imaging department.
- Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary.
- Assist with staff orientation and training.
- HCPC registration.
- Degree in Radiography.
- Extensive MRI experience in the UK.
- In‑depth knowledge of MRI processes and policies.
- SOR or Cannulation certificate essential.
- Basic and stress Cardiac experience desirable.
