Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: 4 days per week, Monday-Saturday. Shift times between 07:30-20:00

Salary: Up to ÂŁ47,000? dependent on experience + 4% shift enhancement

We are looking for a Lead Theatre Practitioner with experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery to join our Theatres team at The Christie Private Care, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the smooth, day-to-day running of the Operating Theatre Suite , ensuring seamless operations and multidisciplinary teamwork alongside the NHS.
  • Lead with clinical expertise, coordinating the team in various surgical specialisms and the management of complex acute oncology procedures.
  • Champion a positive, supportive working culture, fostering collaboration, respect, and professional growth.
  • Prioritise patient outcomes and experience, especially for patients presenting with acute oncological needs, ensuring prompt, evidence-based intervention.
  • Deliver and uphold holistic perioperative care for all patient group including oncology patients, with vigilance for acute complications, proactive risk assessment, infection prevention control as part of a multidisciplinary team.
