We are looking for a Lead Theatre Practitioner with experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery to join our Theatres team at The Christie Private Care, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
What you will do:
- Oversee the smooth, day-to-day running of the Operating Theatre Suite , ensuring seamless operations and multidisciplinary teamwork alongside the NHS.
- Lead with clinical expertise, coordinating the team in various surgical specialisms and the management of complex acute oncology procedures.
- Champion a positive, supportive working culture, fostering collaboration, respect, and professional growth.
- Prioritise patient outcomes and experience, especially for patients presenting with acute oncological needs, ensuring prompt, evidence-based intervention.
- Deliver and uphold holistic perioperative care for all patient group including oncology patients, with vigilance for acute complications, proactive risk assessment, infection prevention control as part of a multidisciplinary team.
