We’re looking for an International Relations Manager to join our International Business Team at The London Bridge Hospital, London, rated 'outstanding' by the CQC and based in South East London. The campus encompasses an outpatients and diagnostic centre in The Shard; the large world-class hospital based at the Tooley Street site; Private Care at Guys, which is on the top four floors of Guys Hospital Cancer Centre. With 167 beds, 26 ICU beds and 10 operating theatres we offer our patients exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations.

  • Proven experience managing relationships with international clients, embassies or overseas healthcare stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage referrals, documentation and LOGs accurately
  • Confidence working under pressure and resolving complex or urgent issues efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills with a tactful, culturally sensitive and patient‑focused approach
  • The ability to work collaboratively with consultants, senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams

As an International Relations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting overseas patients and their families throughout their care journey. You’ll act as a key point of contact between embassies, international health offices, insurers, consultants and hospital teams, ensuring a seamless, culturally sensitive and high‑quality experience from referral through to discharge. You’ll manage referrals from international sources, coordinate Letters of Guarantee (LOGs), support consultants with overseas business expectations and ensure accurate records are maintained throughout each patient’s stay. Working closely with Heads of Department and senior leadership, you’ll help improve services, support international business development initiatives and represent The London Bridge Hospital at promotional and educational events. You’ll also ensure appropriate translation services are in place, particularly for Middle Eastern patients, and maintain strong relationships with in‑country officials and overseas agencies.
