We’re looking for a Deputy Estates Manager to join our Estates team based in London Bridge Hospital. The Estates team plays a critical role in ensuring the hospital environment is safe, compliant, and fully operational at all times. From maintaining essential infrastructure to supporting clinical services with high-quality facilities management, the team underpins the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role is key in supporting the smooth running of the hospital estate, working closely with senior leadership and technical teams to uphold the highest standards across all facilities.

As a Deputy Estates Manager you’ll support the leadership and day‑to‑day management of the Estates function, ensuring statutory compliance and operational efficiency across the hospital site. Working in a fast‑paced healthcare environment, the role offers variety and responsibility—from overseeing maintenance programmes to managing contractors and driving continuous improvement. What You’ll Do
  • Support the Estates Manager in delivering a safe, compliant and effective estates service across the hospital
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to ensure minimal disruption to clinical services
  • Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is delivered to agreed standards and within budget
  • Monitor compliance with statutory regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies
  • Lead and support estates team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
