At The Harborne Hospital, you’ll be joining a warm, motivated and highly skilled cancer nursing service that puts patients at the heart of everything we do. As a Bank Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our teams during busy periods, annual leave and planned absences — ensuring continuity of exceptional care for every patient who walks through our doors.

What you’ll do
As a Bank Staff Nurse within our cancer nursing team, you’ll assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality specialist care for patients undergoing oncology or haematology treatment. You’ll support their physical, psychological and emotional needs, working closely with families and colleagues to ensure a safe, compassionate and personalised experience. Your professionalism, empathy and clinical expertise will help create an environment where patients feel supported, respected and truly cared for.
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrable experience working in a UK Oncology or Haematology setting, with familiarity in UK clinical pathways and governance
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Experience within an NHS or private hospital setting
- Confidence in maintaining accurate, detailed patient records and treatment documentation
