This role will require the post holder to work autonomously in applying knowledge to oversee and coordinate patient care as well as personalise the patient pathway. As a patient advocate, effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential skills for this role. The post holder will also participate in driving health promotion, service development, and staff mentorship and education. At the Wilmslow Hospital, we diagnose and treat a range of conditions using some of the most advanced technology in the region, from our 3T MRI scanner to our state-of-the-art laminar flow operating theatres. The hospital is made up of 13 consultant rooms; a full diagnostic imaging suite; 2 operating theatres and a dedicated women’s health unit. What you’ll bring: NMC registered Nurse Post-basic qualification in oncology +/- breast cancer care or willing to train Evidence of continued professional development Level 2 psychological skills training as per recognised course or working towards Experience of teaching Why HCA UK?
