This is a great opportunity for a passionate and aspiring chef, looking to join and progress in a fast-paced restaurant group. Our GRIND locations offer all-day dining and focus on using fresh seasonal produce to develop a dynamic menu.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen team in ensuring they have everything they need to operate the kitchen. You will need strong organisational skills, work well under pressure and enjoy working in a very busy work environment. If you’re looking to start your culinary career but don’t yet have any experience, this is a great opportunity for you!
Role Responsibilities:- Support the Back of House team in the operation of the kitchen
- Ensure the kitchen is always clean and well equipped to run service
- Action any tasks requested by Head Chef or Senior chef on duty
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to quickly prioritise tasks
- Able to perform well and remain professional whilst under pressure
- A reliable team player who enjoys working in a busy environment
- An effective communicator and listener to instructions
