- Investigative Support: Conduct thorough investigations into trading standards violations and consumer protection issues.
- Expert Advice: Provide specialist advice to colleagues and stakeholders on trading standards legislation and enforcement.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and enforce compliance with trading standards regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with team members, colleagues from other regulatory services, and external stakeholders to resolve cases and complete project work.
- Flexible Working: Be prepared to carry out duties at flexible times, including occasional evenings and weekends. We are a Home Office–licensed sponsor; however, for this specific role we are not able to provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
