Salary: Scale 6, Pro rata actual salary - £35,848.51

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent, Term time + 2 weeks (Paid 47.36 weeks per annum, rising with service)

The Role

We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and highly committed Data Administrative Officer to lead and manage our school office. Working closely with the Head of School, you will ensure the smooth, efficient running of daily school life and play a pivotal role in our data management strategy. Your responsibilities will span across managing pupil data systems (Arbor), leading admissions coordination with the Local Authority, generating statutory returns (CENSUS), managing attendance strategies, and providing a warm, professional face for our school reception.

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualifications: A good level of general education, including GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent).
  • Technical Expertise: Exceptional IT competency, with strong practical experience in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) and computerised school data systems like SIMS or Arbor.
  • Experience: A background in data entry, report generation, and liaising confidently with third parties and leadership teams.
  • Personal Attributes: A meticulous eye for detail, the resilience to manage a varied workload in a highly pressurised environment, and the discretion required to maintain absolute confidentiality.
  • Other Requirements: A willingness to work flexibly to support school events and meetings, and a pediatric first aid qualification (or willingness to train).
