Your new role:
To lead, plan, and deliver expert professional services within the Estates Management sector. This includes managing the Council’s commercial properties, overseeing lease renewals, rent reviews, rent collection, and debt recovery, as well as conducting the annual statutory asset valuations.
Additionally, to support the development, management, and delivery of Council services, while managing staff responsible for service delivery and support within the department. Ensure the Council maximises service outcomes in a cost-effective manner.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Extensive post-qualification experience in a comparable, complex organisation, delivering comprehensive Estates and Property Management services.
Proven ability to establish holistic property management plans.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge and experience of regulatory guidelines and statutory compliance requirements for estates management within a large public sector organisation.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of professionals.
