George Mason Lodge, Leytonstone – Care home for older people with physical and sensory disabilities, cognitive impairment and dementia.
Working pattern: between 7:00 am and 9:30 pm, including weekends and bank holidays as required.
Responsibilities:
- Deputise for the Home Manager in his/her absence.
- Support management of day‑to‑day operations and development of the service in line with CQC standards.
- Assist with management and administration of all personnel and material resources of the residential home.
- Contribute as a deputy manager to the achievement of the authority's key purposes and to continuous improvement of performance.
- Manage a team of staff providing high‑quality, innovative, person‑centred care to older people with a variety of needs, including those living with dementia.
Qualifications:
- Minimum relevant care qualification, such as NVQ Level 4, QCF or equivalent.
- Proven experience with CQC standards.
- Ability to read and write in English and willingness to undertake a written test.
- Sound knowledge of IT skills.
- Successful DBS check required; safe recruitment practices for work with vulnerable adults.
