As a Lead Project Building Surveyor, you will provide high-quality building surveying services to the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Your role includes managing allocated building surveyors to ensure effective maintenance, management, and replacement of properties in compliance with client requirements and statutory regulations. You will oversee the building fabric aspects of projects and contribute to the development of planned maintenance programs.
This role requires providing expert advice on building-related matters and managing asbestos compliance programs. Additionally, you will coordinate with other engineers, manage contractors, and ensure a responsive and efficient service is delivered to clients. You will represent the council at meetings and act as an expert witness when required.
You are an experienced and diligent building surveyor with strong expertise in construction, maintenance, and project management. You thrive in a challenging environment and have a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You are knowledgeable in building regulations and compliance, and possess strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues. - Sound knowledge of construction and building regulations
