In this role, you will
- Be the Council's Subject Matter Expert and Lead for Microsoft Purview. Own the roadmap for the product and make recommendations on its future development and use.
- Monitoring and reporting on data governance effectiveness, policy compliance, and data security health.
- Supporting the organisational rollout of Purview features in structured phases and ensuring remediation of existing configurations.
About You
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview including classification, labelling, DLP, Insider Risk and governance policies
- Excellent knowledge of Azure security concepts including role assignments, app registrations, managed identities, access governance, and authentication methods
- Excellent understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
- Competitive salary (£62,743 to £66,084).
- Generous annual leave: 29 days, rising to 33 with 5+ years' service, plus bank holidays and 3 additional days at Christmas.
