About the Role and Our Ideal Candidate
As part of this role, you will be responsible for:
- Directing the Community Ranger team to ensure efficient delivery of practical duties, such as graffiti removal, while maintaining strong community support across the neighborhoods.
- Managing internal and statutory reporting and analysis for the environment service.
- Overseeing environment-related initiatives and projects that contribute to the Council's carbon reduction and recycling objectives.
We are seeking a proactive communicator who thrives on collaborating with colleagues and the community. While prior experience managing a small team is beneficial, we also welcome candidates with strong organizational and leadership capabilities. You must have a solid grasp of financial management, data, and performance reporting to ensure quality control and identify improvements.
