Sutton College is urgently seeking 2 dynamic and experienced Counselling Tutors who can teach L4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (BACP) for a current cohort. We are very interested in tutors who are able to support students to:
- Take the next steps in professional counsellor training to specialise whether in the voluntary, statutory or private sectors.
- Learn how essential theoretical concepts are proving to be in their own client work.
- Prepare for work as a professional counsellor in an agency setting.
Qualifications:
- You should have a passion for teaching, good subject knowledge, and a desire to develop pre-practitioner training for future counselling professionals.
- Professional counselling experience is preferred, and a minimum level 3 teaching qualification is essential (or the willingness to work towards one).
- Qualified at Level 4 or above in CPCAB Therapeutic Counselling or its equivalent.
