About the Role and Our Ideal Candidate

LB Sutton is recruiting a Project Coordinator to support the busy Regeneration, Enabling and Development teams within the Housing Directorate.

Role

This role works across and provides support to all the teams. The role will focus on ensuring the delivery of high quality development and regeneration schemes with particular responsibility for:

  • Managing the day-to-day relationship with the GLA – our key funder, including managing the OPS system, coordinating bids, projects and programmes, and ensuring timely spending and audit compliance.
  • Acting as the lead statutory consultee for the LPA to comment on planning applications from a housing development perspective and ensuring that s106 and nominations commitments are met, secured and monitored effectively.
  • Leading the day-to-day management of the enabling function, effectively supporting our registered provider partners who are seeking to develop affordable housing in the borough.

Other than these key tasks, your role will be to support the project, development and regeneration managers as they deliver schemes and programmes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the affordable housing sector.
  • Highly organised and computer literate, with appropriate use of AI tools.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
