Sutton College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Photography Tutor. The post holder will teach onsite at the college and ensure high-quality delivery through the implementation of quality assurance processes. They will support a vibrant curriculum, assist with curriculum development, personalised employment support and learner progression, and contribute to the college’s strategic goals, especially for priority groups under the Adult Skills Fund.

You Will:
- Ensure a safe and organised learning environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere that promotes skills development and confidence.
- Engage learners by using a range of teaching and learning strategies.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit a diverse range of learners.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning and development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Teaching in Adult Education or Further Education Post 16 college/training environment.
- Experience teaching a range of levels in the subject area.
- Experience of quality improvement processes which support and develop practice.
Professional Experience:
- An appropriate teaching qualification for the Post 16 Sector (e.g. DET / Cert. Ed. or equivalent) and/or willingness to complete a Level 4 qualification within the first year of appointment.
- A qualification in the subject specialism (to at least Level 4 e.g. HND, 1st Degree), or an in-depth knowledge and a minimum of three years’ substantial experience in the subject area you are applying for.
- Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) qualifications in English & Mathematics.
