Responsibilities:
- Allocate temporary accommodation in line with legislation and suitability requirements.
- Procure accommodation from landlords, hotels and agents within agreed cost limits.
- Inspect properties, manage voids and ensure health & safety compliance.
- Support households to move into longer‑term housing options, including private rented accommodation.
- Liaise with landlords and providers to resolve repairs and tenancy issues.
- Conduct viewings and property visits, including lone working.
- Prepare decision letters and maintain accurate case records.
- Work to service targets and statutory obligations under the Housing Act 1996.
