About the Borough

With a workforce of two hundred colleagues, we are small enough to be friendly and large enough to give you scope to develop and progress your career. We are based in Sutton Town Centre with great transport links in and out of London. Our colleagues work and engage with residents in the borough and wider for our private sector colleagues.

This role is a varied and engaging opportunity that will require strong communication skills, good time management and forward thinking. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating their skills and behaviours for the role in line with the role profile.

  • Knowledge of the principles of good governance
  • A customer-focused approach and ability to demonstrate awareness of internal and external customers' needs and expectations

The Governance Team is a small but integral part of SHP providing a wide range of services including board and executive support, office management, information governance and performance management.
