Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing supervision to a small group of social care staff, including registered social workers and experienced non‑registered staff.
- Maintain exceptional standards of casework through line management and offer guidance while engaging with the Team Manager for support on complex cases.
- Support team development through involvement in recruitment, retention and workload allocation.
- Contribute to ensuring commissioned services are cost‑effective and, where appropriate, participate in the co‑production of service improvements with service users and family carers.
- Lead responsibility for managing the duty function within the team, sharing duty management duties with the other two ATMs on a rota basis.
- On a rota basis take on the role of safeguarding manager for statutory safeguarding enquiries.
- Oversee specific complex casework and hold direct responsibility for cases within the ATM’s area of expertise.
