About the Role and our Ideal Candidate:

  • Invoice processing - reconciling monthly supplier invoices to a database ensuring that we are billed correctly for all clients placed dealing with suppliers and resolving issues identified.
  • Purchase Orders for both the nightly paid accommodation and ad hoc as requested across the Housing Advice Service.
  • Working with the lettings Team to raise invoices for rent in advance and arranging repayment plans.
  • Account reconciliations.
  • Year end closing including Accruals etc.

About you:

  • Experience of working within a similar finance role - Essential.
  • Experience using accounting software - Essential.
  • Year End Processes - including Accruals and Purchase Orders - Essential.
  • Strong mathematical skills - Desirable.
  • Some knowledge of Housing - Desirable.

About Us:

The Income and Finance Team is structured as a Team Leader with 3 Income Officers and 1 Finance Officer. The Income Officers are responsible for the management of all rent accounts for clients placed into Emergency Accommodation including progressing all arrears actions as per the policies and procedures. This includes income collection to set KPIs for the accommodations covered by the team. The Finance Officer is responsible for invoice processing, raising of rent in advance invoices, prevention payment requests and assisting in the year end functions, recording of payments from various budget streams.
