Role Overview
As a Newly Qualified Social Worker (ASYE) in the London Borough of Sutton, you will start the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme, gaining induction, supervision and training to develop into a competent social worker capable of handling complex cases within adults and children social care.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with residents and families to assess needs and provide support.
- Develop and maintain accurate records, portfolios and learning objectives.
- Participate in action learning sets, training and reflective practice.
- Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver person‑centred care.
Qualifications
- Recent post‑graduate social work graduates or those who qualified within the last 3 years (not earlier than September 2023), or in the process of completing a social work qualification (SW England number by September 2026).
- Motivated, committed and passionate about working within a local authority.
