About the Role
You will handle a wide range of case work from householder applications to high-profile developments across both Boroughs. You will provide comprehensive professional advice to colleagues and Senior Managers, liaise with developers and residents, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements in administering and collecting CIL and monitoring S106 planning obligations. You will supervise day-to-day tasks of the team to deliver an excellent service and meet internal performance targets.
Responsibilities:
- Administer CIL and S106 agreements across Richmond and Wandsworth.
- Provide professional advice on CIL and S106 obligations to developers, residents, and internal stakeholders.
- Supervise day-to-day tasks of the team to meet delivery deadlines and performance targets.
- Ensure the Council complies with reporting requirements and internal performance management targets.
- Work to agreed and identifiable timescales, managing competing priorities.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Full knowledge of the Community Infrastructure Levy, up-to-date knowledge of S106 agreements and CIL Regulations, and how they apply to development.
- Experience administering CIL or S106 agreements, or working in Development Management and supporting colleagues in understanding and applying the CIL legislation.
- Proven information and management and numeracy skills, with the ability to work on detailed calculations in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work effectively to meet challenging deadlines and competing priorities.
- A professional approach, with the ability to communicate complex information to a broad range of customers, internal colleagues and senior managers.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to use a wide range of computer software to carry out the role.
