Job Introduction
Are you a reflective, ambitious and values-driven teacher committed to ensuring that every lesson counts? Riversdale Primary School is seeking an excellent classroom practitioner to join our committed and forward-thinking team. About the Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a class across KS1 or KS2, as determined annually by the Headteacher. You will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, well-sequenced lessons that enable all pupils to make strong progress,
- Create a well-ordered, secure and nurturing learning environment,
- Use assessment intelligently to inform teaching and next steps,
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and those who are disadvantaged,
- Work closely with school leaders to track progress and implement timely intervention,
- Develop positive, professional relationships with parents and carers,
- Contribute actively to phase and whole-school development.

About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Has secure subject and curriculum knowledge,

- Holds high expectations for all pupils, academically and socially,

Experience of working in an inclusive setting and adapting provision for pupils with additional needs would be advantageous.
