This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and reflective teacher to join the ambitious team at Franciscan Primary School from September 2026. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are committed to inclusive, evidence-informed practice and who want to make a meaningful difference within a nurturing, high-aspiration school community.

We are seeking a committed classroom practitioner who believes in inclusive education and understands the importance of relationships, high expectations and evidence-based teaching approaches. The successful candidate will join a school where professional learning is valued and where staff wellbeing and collaboration sit at the heart of our culture.

At Franciscan, teaching and learning is rooted in research-informed practice. Staff engage in ongoing professional dialogue, coaching and CPD focused on strong curriculum design, adaptive teaching and disciplinary literacy. Whether you are at the beginning of your career or bring extensive classroom experience, you will be supported to grow and thrive.

ECTs benefit from a structured induction programme with protected time, coaching and leadership development opportunities. Experienced teachers are encouraged to share expertise, develop subject leadership and contribute to whole-school improvement.
