Job Introduction
- 15 hours per week 3pm-6pm
- Term Time Only - 38 weeks per year
Smallwood Primary School & Language Unit is a good school working within a diverse multicultural community. As part of our team providing wrap around care to our pupils, you will help deliver, plan and co-ordinate a programme of activities to provide formal and informal learning opportunities for pupils. You will also be required to prepare meals and support children with their personal needs. Training in food hygiene and allergens will be provided.
You must have excellent communication, planning and organisational skills as well as be able to work constructively as part of a team. You will also need to be able to show initiative in dealing with situations that may arise and form positive relationships with pupils and their families, whilst also adhering to the school's policies.
You will need to be passionate about the education of our children, continuous professional development of all staff and a strong partnership with parents and the wider community. You will be positive and enthusiastic in your approach and will seek to provide the best care opportunities for the children helping them to achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
