Salary: £30,510–£36,969 per annum

Contract: 24‑month fixed term, full time (36 hours per week)

Location: Various sheltered schemes in Wandsworth

Objective of the role: The London Boroughs of Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth offer a unique opportunity to work within a ground‑breaking shared staffing structure. The role is part of the Supported Housing Service’s three strands – Sheltered Housing, Tenancy Support Service and Community Development – and focuses on providing high‑quality support to older, vulnerable tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to tenants, ensuring their safety and well‑being.
  • Assist in managing the administration of the sheltered schemes, including record keeping.
  • Respond to tenant queries and concerns, offering advice and assistance.
  • Help maintain and improve the quality of the scheme environment.
  • Work closely with other professionals and agencies to support tenants.
  • Be enrolled in CIH Level 3 in Housing Studies.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for working with older people and supporting vulnerable individuals.
  • A desire to learn and develop within the housing sector.
  • Experience using IT applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
