Objective of the role: The London Boroughs of Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth offer a unique opportunity to work within a ground‑breaking shared staffing structure. The role is part of the Supported Housing Service’s three strands – Sheltered Housing, Tenancy Support Service and Community Development – and focuses on providing high‑quality support to older, vulnerable tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to tenants, ensuring their safety and well‑being.
- Assist in managing the administration of the sheltered schemes, including record keeping.
- Respond to tenant queries and concerns, offering advice and assistance.
- Help maintain and improve the quality of the scheme environment.
- Work closely with other professionals and agencies to support tenants.
- Be enrolled in CIH Level 3 in Housing Studies.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Maths and English GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for working with older people and supporting vulnerable individuals.
- A desire to learn and develop within the housing sector.
- Experience using IT applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
