Opportunity to develop career through training and promotions while staying in current post. Richmond and Wandsworth Councils are looking for experienced, qualified post ASYE Social Workers to join Adult Social Care teams. The teams include Service Managers, Assistant Service Managers, Senior Social Workers, Social Workers, and Social Care Assessors who provide a holistic, personalised, strength‑based service to residents over 18.

About the role

  • Undertaking assessments of individuals and carers to support independence, prevent harm and provide support.
  • Working in partnership with service users and carers using a person‑centred approach to maximise independence, wellbeing and choice.
  • Applying social work principles and values to guide professional practice and respecting diversity.

You will:

  • Maintain a ‘can do’ attitude to work.
  • Seek better value for money while meeting residents’ outcomes at lower cost.
  • Keep residents’ interests at heart and provide high‑standard service.
