Salary Range: £32,841 - £49,365 per annum

Permanent – Fulltime (36 hours)

Location: Wandsworth Town Hall, room 217, SW18 2PU and York House, Richmond Road, Twickenham, TW1 3AA

This role requires the candidate to work from various locations across Richmond and Wandsworth depending on business need. This role also requires you to be part of a call out rota. A full UK driving license is essential.

About the role

You will be helping by supporting the FM Hard Services team in delivering compliant electrical building services to all Wandsworth and Richmond Councils corporate properties. Objective of the role

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking Corporate Facilities Management (FM) team, responsible for delivering high-quality services across approximately 300 buildings in Richmond and Wandsworth. Our FM remit spans a wide range of essential functions including:

  • Reactive and planned maintenance (including statutory compliance)
  • Small works and project delivery
  • Cleaning, postal and print services
  • Energy management and decarbonisation strategy
  • Halls and events management

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Electrical installation and Maintenance – Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, and equipment across a council’s corporate building portfolio.
  • Fault finding and repairs – Diagnose and repair electrical faults in systems and machinery.
  • Compliance and Safety – Ensure compliance with wiring regulations and health & safety regulations.
  • Testing and Inspection – Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Emergency Response – Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service requests.
  • Teamwork and Administration – Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Collaborate with other maintenance team members and contractors as needed.
