Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east‑London borough. We are searching for a confident, motivated Senior Property Licensing Processing Officer to lead a team of processing officers and deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused licensing service at Lynton House.
In This Role, You Will:
- Supervise and support Processing Officers to meet KPIs and service standards.
- Handle complex licensing decisions, including exemptions, revocations and fit and proper assessments.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners such as Police, Fire Safety and HMRC.
- Respond to customer enquiries, complaints and FOIs with professionalism and accuracy.
About You:
You’ll bring strong organisational skills, excellent communication, experience of managing people and performance management, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of housing legislation and property licensing is desirable. If you’re proactive, detail‑driven and passionate about improving housing standards, we’d love to hear from you.
