Role Summary
- Permanent - Full Time
- To support the Electoral Services Manager in the oversight and management of the coordination, planning, and execution of all elections conducted within the London Borough of Redbridge.
- To contribute to the effective administration and operation of the Electoral Services function, including delivery of the annual canvass, implementation of Individual Electoral Registration (IER), compilation and publication of the revised Register of Electors, and ensuring adherence to the provisions of the Elections Act 2022.
- To coordinate and deliver outreach initiatives aimed at promoting voter registration.
- To lead and manage members of the Electoral Services team where necessary as directed by the Electoral Services Manager.

- You must have knowledge of Electoral Services operations, legislative framework, and associated risks.
- An understanding of best practices in Electoral Services, customer care principles, and relevant quality standards.

Qualifications And Experience
- The successful candidate should possess the Association of Electoral Administrators (AEA) Certificate and have substantial experience working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Proven ability to maintain objectivity and strict confidentiality.
- A high level of IT proficiency, including advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email systems.
- Experience in working within an election office at a senior level.
- Demonstrated experience in staff management, appropriate to the responsibilities of the role.
