Position Overview

We are looking for an Administrator in the First Contact Team – a permanent, full‑time role (36 hours) in Community Health & Social Care Services in Redbridge. This team acts as the front door for information, advice, and support to the community, working with district nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, occupational therapists, mental health workers, and learning disability workers, in partnership with other health and social care teams. The role focuses on providing high‑quality, person‑centred services to residents.

Responsibilities

  • Process and prioritise all referrals from multiple sources to direct them to the appropriate service for required care.
  • Ensure quality assurance in data recording: verify NHS numbers and demographic data on referrals, and update relevant databases using National Spine and other sources.
  • Record data accurately; input notifications of changes and amendments into relevant databases promptly to keep clinical services informed.
  • Deliver high quality customer service, providing seamless service provision and supporting the smooth running of the First Contact Team.
